The chairman of the People’s Democratic Party Abia State Chief Johnson Onuigbo has urged the people of Isuikwuato to rally support for the re-election of governor Okezie Ikpeazu in 2019.

He made the call at the Isuikwuato council headquarters Mbalano on Tuesday when he led the state working committee to a visit in the area to know the state of the council area saying “Ikpeazu remains the best bet for Abia come 2019 general election.

According to him, PDP has been repositioned at the centre and states and assured that the party will recapture power in 2019 adding that all Abians should obtain his PVC while urging them to shun the antics of opposition parties in the state.

Welcoming the PDP state working committee, the Isuikwuato party chairman Hon. Chinedu Igboko thanked them for coming and assured that the people of Isuikwuato are for PDP and will vote for Ikpeazu again in 2019.

Earlier in his address, the Isuikwuato local government chairman Chief Nnamdi Udeze restated the readiness of his people to vote Ikpeazu again while reeling out his achievements in the council area despite lean resources.

Chief Udeze decried the Ugwuaba gully erosion along Isuikwuato Uturu road and called the federal government to come to their aid adding that the erosion cannot be tackled by the state alone.

Chief Udeze who said his council had spent N15m on palliative in the erosion site said immediate action is needed to avoid the cut off of the road into two.
